About Elixir Shots
Who makes Elixir Shots?
Elixir is physician-founded and family-owned. Dr. Lina Delbrück, DO, formulated every shot herself after she couldn't find a wellness product she'd recommend to her own patients. She started the company with her husband, James, and their family were the first to try every formula.
What does cold-pressed actually mean?
Two things, and most brands only tell you one. Cold-pressed means the juice is pressed from whole produce without heat. What happens next matters just as much. Some brands heat their juice afterward to make it shelf-stable, which cooks it. Others use UV light, which only works on liquid thin enough for light to pass through. We use high pressure processing: sealed bottles under roughly 87,000 psi, no heat and no light, working all the way through the bottle, sediment included. It's why we never have to thin anything out, and why every shot ships and stays cold.
Where do your ingredients come from?
Specific places, not "sourced globally." Red Hawaiian turmeric from volcanic soil on Kauai. Peruvian ginger from Chanchamayo. Valencia orange and Lisbon lemon from Beaumont, California. Beets from Troutdale, Oregon. Carrots from Mt. Vernon, Washington. Pineapple from Costa Rica. Pomegranate from Hatay, Turkey. Matcha from Nishio, Japan. Everything is certified organic.
Why is your bottle plastic and not glass?
Because glass can't survive our process. Under high pressure the liquid compresses about 15%, so the bottle has to flex and spring back. Glass is rigid and would shatter. We weren't willing to trade a better product for a prettier bottle. Glass is also 8 to 10 times heavier, which means more emissions to ship every order. Our bottles are food-grade, BPA-free, and fully recyclable, and so are our insulation and ice packs.
Are your shots vegan and gluten-free?
All of our shots are gluten-free. Every shot is vegan except Collagen+, which uses grass-fed bovine collagen peptides.
Product & ingredients
Which shot should I start with?
Immunity is our most popular first shot: turmeric, ginger, orange, lemon, and black pepper. From there it depends on your morning. Energy is matcha-forward. Focus is cacao and citrus. Endurance is beet, carrot, and celery. Defense is just ginger and lemon, and it's our strongest. Hydration tastes like salted watermelon. Gut Health has 3g of prebiotic fiber. Collagen+ is pomegranate-forward. Vitality is pineapple and coconut water. Can't decide? The Starter Bundle pairs Immunity, Hydration, and Gut Health.
How and when should I drink them?
Most people land on one a day, often first thing in the morning. Shake it hard, then shoot it straight. If the intensity is a lot, pour it over ice or top it with sparkling water.
Is there any added sugar?
None, in any shot. No sweeteners and no added flavorings. Any sweetness comes from the fruit we press.
How should I store them?
Keep them in the fridge and check the best-by date on each bottle. If you won't finish a pack in time, you can freeze them. Just let a bottle thaw in the fridge before you drink it, they're best enjoyed cold.
Are they safe if I'm pregnant, nursing, or on medication?
Our shots are food, not supplements, but ingredients like turmeric and ginger are potent. If you're pregnant, nursing, or taking any medication, check with your own doctor first. Full ingredient lists are on every product page.
Why does my shot taste so strong?
Because nothing is diluted. Whole-root ginger and turmeric have real intensity, and color and heat vary a little from harvest to harvest, the way produce does. If you want it gentler, add water or sparkling water.
Orders & payments
My discount code isn't working. What's wrong?
Usually one of three things: codes can't be combined with the 25% subscription discount, some are limited to specific products, and all of them expire. Enter it exactly as written with no extra spaces. Still stuck? Send us the code and we'll sort it out.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Usually only within the first few hours, since orders are packed cold on a tight schedule. Email us your order number right away and we'll do everything we can before it's packed.
Are Elixir Shots HSA/FSA eligible?
Yes. Pay with your HSA or FSA card at checkout, or pay normally and submit the itemized receipt we email you for reimbursement.

I didn't get an order confirmation.
Check spam and promotions first, confirmations arrive within minutes. If it's not there, the email address may have a typo. Send us your name and the last four digits of the card you used and we'll find the order.
Shipping & cold chain
How fast will my order arrive?
Most orders arrive within three business days. We ship Monday through Wednesday so nothing sits in a warehouse over the weekend, and you'll get tracking the moment your box leaves us.
When is shipping free?
Shipping is free on every subscription order. One-time orders show the exact cold-shipping cost at checkout.
How do you keep everything cold?
Every order ships in insulated packaging with ice packs, and both are recyclable. It arrives as cold as it left us.
My box arrived warm. Are the shots still good?
Partly melted ice packs are normal, they're designed to thaw while they work. But if the bottles themselves feel warm, look swollen, or are leaking, don't drink them. Send us a photo of the box and bottles and we'll replace your order.
My tracking hasn't updated. What now?
Scans sometimes go quiet in transit. If there's been no movement for 48 hours, or tracking says delivered and nothing arrived, send us your order number. We'll open a trace and get a replacement moving if needed.
Where do you ship?
Everywhere in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Because every order travels cold, we can't ship internationally yet. Outside the US? Email us and we'll let you know when that changes.
Subscriptions
How does a subscription work?
Pick your shots and how often you want them, every 24 days is our default, and you save 25% on every order with free shipping. We email you before each order ships.
Where do I manage my subscription?
Everything lives in your customer portal. Use "Manage subscription" in the top navigation, or the link in any subscription email. From there you can skip a delivery, change how often shots arrive, swap flavors, adjust quantities, update your card and address, or cancel.
Can I skip or pause a delivery?
Anytime. Still have shots in the fridge? Skip a delivery, push it back, or stretch how often they arrive. Just make the change before your next billing date.
Can I switch which shots I get?
Yes, and your discount stays intact. Want to try something new? Swap in a different shot anytime from your portal. Lots of subscribers rotate with the seasons: Immunity in winter, Hydration and Energy in summer.
Is there a minimum commitment?
None. No minimum number of orders and no cancellation fee. Cancel in a couple of clicks in your portal, or ask us and we'll do it for you.
Why was I charged earlier than expected?
Billing dates can shift slightly when a delivery gets rescheduled or a cold-chain cutoff moves a shipment earlier in the week. Your portal shows your exact next billing date, and if a charge still looks wrong, we'll refund it.

What is Elixir Rewards?
Elixir Rewards is our free loyalty program. Every time you shop, you earn points you can apply as discounts on future orders. It's free to join and there's no catch, just our way of saying thanks for choosing Elixir.
How do I join?
Create an account with us and you're automatically enrolled. No extra steps, no separate signup. You'll start earning points right away.
How do points work?
For every dollar you spend on eligible purchases, you earn points, which convert into reward dollars you can apply to future orders. Your tier status can boost how fast you earn: higher tiers earn more points per dollar spent, especially on subscription orders.
Do all purchases count toward points?
Every purchase made on elixirshots.com counts, as long as you're logged into your account when you order. A few exclusions may apply, but if something doesn't count, we'll tell you clearly at the time.
What happens to my points if I return an item?
The spend and points tied to that purchase are removed from your account, along with any tier progress it earned you.
How are tiers determined, and are they permanent?
Your tier is based on your total spend with us over time. Once you reach a tier, it's yours for good, even if your points later expire, your tier status doesn't reset.
What are the reward tiers?
Four tiers, based on lifetime spend: Silver (on signup), Gold ($200+), Platinum ($400+), and Diamond ($700+). Higher tiers earn a bigger points multiplier on every order and on subscriptions specifically, a bigger birthday reward, and unlock perks like early access to sales and new products.
Do points expire?
Points expire 12 months after they're earned, so use them before then. Your tier status is unaffected either way.
What are the ways to earn extra points?
Beyond shopping, you can earn points by creating an account, writing a review, following us on Instagram or TikTok, referring a friend, starting a subscription, signing up for SMS, joining our Facebook page, or telling us your birthday. Each one shows the exact point value when you do it.
What does it mean to “mention” or “tag” Elixir for points?
By sharing your social handle and verifying it, you're agreeing to let us track content you post that tags @elixirshots so we can credit your points, and to occasionally repost that content on our own channels. You can ask us to stop tracking your posts anytime by contacting us.
How do referrals work?
Share your unique referral link with a friend. They get $20 off their first order, and once they purchase, you get $20 too.
What happens to my points if I pause my subscription?
Nothing is lost. You keep every point you've already earned. You just won't earn new points while paused, since no orders are being processed, and everything picks back up the moment you resume.
How will I get my birthday reward?
Add your birthday to your account and make sure you're opted in to emails. We'll send your reward straight to your inbox on the day.
What is voting, and how does it earn points?
When we ask a question through the rewards program, answering it earns you points automatically. It's one of the easiest ways to rack up points without spending anything.
Can I add my rewards card to Apple Wallet?
Yes. Add your loyalty pass to Apple Wallet to check your point balance and tier on the go, and get notified about member-only offers.
Returns & guarantee
How does the 45-day guarantee work?
If the shots aren't for you, tell us within 45 days of delivery and we'll refund your order. No need to ship anything back.
How do I request a refund?
Email us your order number and a sentence on what went wrong. Most requests are approved the same business day, and refunds reach your original payment method in 5 to 10 business days.
My order arrived damaged or incomplete.
We'll make it right. Send a photo of the box and bottles with your order number, and we'll send a replacement or refund the affected items, whichever you prefer.
Can I send shots as a gift?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout and we'll ship straight to them. Since the shots are perishable, let us know if they'll be away so we can time the delivery. If they'll be home, add their email so they get delivery alerts and can get the box into the fridge fast.
